Protégé Agency Producer
The Protégé Agency Producer program is designed to provide individuals an opportunity to grow their skills and business knowledge to become a Farmers® agency owner while working for an existing Farmers agency 1.
Protégé Agency Producers (“Protégés”) can gain real-world experience and will have access to the award-wining University of Farmers® training program, along with additional resources that may help support their growth as a business owner, should the Protégé one day own their own Farmers agency.
Process
Background Check
● Satisfactory results of a background check are required
Licensing
● Licensing is a key milestone toward agency ownership and Property and Casualty licenses are required prior to appointment as a Protégé Agency Producer
● Life and Health licenses are required to meet production milestones and for Full-time appointment as a Farmers agency owner
Eligibility and Protégé Agency Producer Appointment
● The agency owner the candidate is working with also must meet program eligibility criteria and request the candidate’s appointment to the Protégé Agency Producer program
Performance Milestones and Graduation
● Protégés progress through the program by achieving production and milestones designed to help them prepare for agency ownership

Protégé Agency Producer Graduation Bonus Opportunity
